Congratulations on your new piece of jewellery!
Kate Webster Jewellery Designs have created your special piece to not only look exceptional but also be long lasting and treasured for generations to come. Kate strongly recommends that you visit her every year to ensure that your special piece is still in exceptional condition, just like the day you received it.
In order for your jewellery to remain in peak condition, we ask that you follow these guidelines.
When not in use, store your jewellery in a box such as the original packaging to avoid damage to the item. When storing your jewellery for long periods of time, store each piece individually in a small zip-lock bag, sealed tightly, removing as much air as possible. This will help lessen any natural tarnishing and damage caused by pieces rubbing together.
It is not advised to wear your jewellery whilst swimming or bathing, washing up, cleaning or using chemicals, performing sports or heavy-duty activities, such as going to the gym or gardening.
It is also recommended that you do not sleep in your jewellery. Gemstones can easily become dislodged or damaged by heavy knocks.
Finally, jewellery should always be the last 'piece of clothing' that you put on and the first item to be taken off when returning home.
